Our client is a leading water treatment company specialising in the management, services and treatment of wastewater and water distribution systems.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the successful delivery of multiple projects within the water treatment space.

This includes planning and executing project schedules, budgets and forecasts, contract management including variations and progress claims, and providing commercial advice in collaboration with the commercial team.
In addition, you will be client facing and manage relationships between both internal and external stakeholders.

Further Responsibilities Include:Project planning coordination, management and deliveryFormulate, manage and monitor multiple operation teams and clientsWorking closely with the project administration, contracts administration and project engineering teamsMonitor, control and administer subcontractor activitiesMonitor and control the procurement of goods and servicesProvide execution support to the Project Management TeamsManaging project risksOversee the execution of project quality procedures, ITP and FAT testing documents and compilation of MDRIdentify and develop process improvement opportunities to further the Project Team capabilitiesIf required, facilitating and obtaining approvalsEnsure client and company compliance including HSEMaintain a positive and productive working cultureTo be successful, the following criteria will be highly regarded:Relevant qualification in Project Management or Project EngineeringProven success as a Project Manager or Project Engineer on water treatment projectsContract management of minor and major worksOutstanding professional communication skills, particularly at a senior client management levelExperience in all stakeholder engagement including the client, suppliers and third-party contractorsUnderstanding of financial and risk management principlesStrong focus on fostering a positive HSE culture within the companyA proactive and can-do attitudeExcellent time management and task prioritisation skillsPrior experience in Iron Ore in particular with Rio Tinto/BHP is highly regardedAbility to travel to site on an adhoc basisThis role has been assessed as strategically important to future growth and impact of the business, and as such our client is willing to negotiate an attractive remuneration package with the successful applicant.
