We are Passionate, Considerate, Collaborative and Curious and we are proud to be a leading WA employer.Reporting to the General Manager, Capital Projects, the Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day project management of various projects across all Hawaiian assets under the direction of the General Manager, Capital Projects on a full-time permanent basis.Overview of ResponsibilitiesLife cycle capital expenditure replacement works across the full Hawaiian asset portfolio (shopping centres, office buildings and hospitality).Consultant Management - instruct, coordinate, and manage the consultant team to ensure alignment against agreed project scope, programme, and budget.Contract Procurement - review procurement options for each project and recommend option for adoption.Contract Management - undertake day-to-day contract management as needed to successfully resolve construction matters in a manner that minimises all risks to Hawaiian and its tenants.Cost control - establish and maintain accurate and thorough cost reports, dealing with the actual, likely and possible positions on a day-to-day basis.Variation management - critically review each RFI and SI to identify variation (and programme) risks.Programme - establish and maintain project schedules, including progress against various separable portions and overall programme.Reporting - review project performance monthly, or sooner if required, and report on aspects against scope, budget, forecasts, project milestones and objectives.Shopping Centre Operations - at all times consider the impact of construction activities and durations on shopper and tenant experience, public safety and potential for loss of revenue for tenants given the asset will trade through. Minimise or eliminate risks (as applicable) where identified.Qualification RequirementsProven project management experience - minimum 6 years exposure in complex, live and trading environments dealing with consultants, contractors and clients.Excellent knowledge of project life cycle - demonstrated experience in project delivery from start to finish in complex, live and trading environments.Pride in quality of work produced - whether it be producing a report, writing an email, dealing with a contractor or accepting a level of finish, a personal attachment to the quality and professionalism of the output is necessary.Proven problem solver - demonstrated willingness and desire to own, fully solve and resolve complex problems.Rock solid cost control - very high level of thoroughness and accuracy in managing project costs.Preferred Skills and AttributesExcellent written communication skills - must be able to present in an accurate and timely manner the current project status in terms of costs, programme, risks etc.Flexible work style - ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.High workload capacity - ability to manage on a regular basis overlapping deadlines and work with multiple priorities in a fluid project environment.Proven stakeholder relationship building skills - regardless of the level of stakeholder, be able to build a working relationship to effectively deal with the inevitable issues as they arise in the course of a project.Take this opportunity to advance your career with a highly successful company that believes its best investment will always be its people.If the above describes you and you are looking for a rewarding role within a great company then please submit a cover letter and your CV by clicking 'Apply Now'.
