As a result of continuous company growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in our Perth Head Office.
Quattro Project Engineering is a successful and innovative WA based Engineering and Construction Services Company servicing the Resources and Civil Sectors for over 10 years. Quattro has consulted and contracted with a diverse range of clients including international mining houses, mid-tier miners, government entities and developers and has delivered a multitude of projects from pre-feasibility through to construction and commissioning. Duties and responsibilities include:
Project Management and Co-Ordination Coordinate activities for each project, ensuring administration and successful completion across various domains including Safety, Engineering, Site works, Finance, and Project Controls.
Work diligently on all management reporting tasks and projects assigned by the Manager - Projects.
Use key software tools (e.g., Action HRM, Procore) for managing duties such as daily timesheets, production shift reports, monthly reporting, end-of-month financial reports, stocktaking, and invoicing.
Build rapport with different operational divisions to foster an integrated work environment.
Report issues or risks as they arise and be accountable for profit and loss for each project.
SEQT (Safety, Environment, Quality and Training) Ensure compliance with Duty of Care requirements as per the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and related regulations.
Ensure compliance with the Quattro Safety Management Plan on site and provide positive leadership.
Coordinate safety meetings, site inspections, equipment audits, and risk assessments.
Assist with the roll-out of company safety procedures and practices.
Report and assist in investigating injuries, accidents, and incidents.
Project Control and Financial Management Manage the project finances to the budget and report any issues to the Manager - Projects as soon as they arise.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required for review.
Prepare and follow schedules in MS Project for use on projects.
Coordinate site and office resources to enable successful project completion.
Continuous Improvement and Leadership Actively promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Role model the Quattro values and principles.
Manage and improve relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Lead and manage project support crew and subcontractors, including recruitment, resourcing, site mobilisation, performance reviews, and asset maintenance.
Ad-hoc Be available for ad-hoc travel and reasonable work outside regular hours as required by ongoing projects.
Engage in a reasonable amount of business development activities (non-essential).
About You 7 - 10 years of experience in a Project/Construction role, preferably with a background in plant construction in mining.
Competent in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Project.
Strong leadership qualities.
High-quality communication and relationship management skills.
Business Development experience (not essential).
Must meet pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening.
Australian Police Clearance.
Preferred candidates to be residentially based in Western Australia.
