The role: We are looking for a major transport Project Manager to join our Newcastle team.
We are looking for experienced engineering professionals with TfNSW experience predominately, and we are also keen to speak to any Senior Project Engineer's who are ready to step into a Project Management role.
You must be flexible in regional travel.
We will accommodate relevant living away from home allowances; these are NOT FIFO opportunities.
We will also assist with relocation if you are interested in moving to Newcastle.
Your impact: Taking the helm of our ambitious and innovative projects, our Project Manager will be a key voice in steering us as we embark on bolstering our growing workbook in the major transport space.
Your every day: Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental management.
Lead continual improvement of a high performing safety culture within the delivery team Manage the overall delivery of the project in accordance with internal processes Manage execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates Leading and managing teams of construction professionals including mentoring, training and performance management Who are you?
• Experience delivering Civil Infrastructure projects in the major transport space for TfNSW • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering • A proven track record in delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with a successful outcome regarding the above KRAs • Be able to effectively communicate in meetings with consultants, clients, management & on-site personnel • A proven record and understanding of HSE/QA compliance A career with us Symal is an equal opportunity employer.
