Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead a critical Data Quality Maturity Uplift initiative. This project involves improving data quality management practices and physical data quality across six key workstreams. You will be responsible for coordinating governance structures, overseeing training and enablement efforts, and implementing data quality rules, policies, and remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of the Data Quality Maturity Uplift project across six workstreams, including data quality governance, data stewardship training, and policy refreshes.
Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Digital, Learning, Procurement) and manage external vendors as required.
Ensure alignment with overall project goals and maintain project documentation, including financial tracking, risk registers, and status reports.
Lead stakeholder engagement, manage project meetings, and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies to keep the project on track and within budget.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably within data governance, data quality, or business change management.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Experience in vendor management and negotiation.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to organisational processes and deliver in a hybrid working environment.
Previous experience in electricity distribution or transmission is highly regarded but not essential.
Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage unplanned activities to achieve project goals.
This role is for 2 ½ days per week for a 6 month contract.
