Projects include refurbishments, repairs, remediation and upgrade projects in marine, utility, infrastructure, defence, commercial and industrial environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES Overall management of construction projects from initial setup through to completion Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program Oversee compliance with HSEQ requirements Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project Engage & coordinate direct labour and subcontractors Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues Involvement with tendering/estimation Raise RFI's and track responses YOUR EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management (or similar) Strong planning and coordination abilities; solid MS Project skills Experience in a comparable role within the construction and remediation industry A high level of understanding and commitment for safety Sound contract management knowledge and experience Strong, positive and inclusive leadership and management skills Experience in leading a team of engineers, HSEQ, direct workforce and subcontractors THE BENEFITS Ongoing rewards & recognition programs Access to everyday discounts from Australia's leading retailers with Flare Paid parental leave Employee referral programs up to $2000 Salary sacrifice options Employee Assistance Program Novated lease options First Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers Submit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
