About the Role:
As a Senior Civil Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of some ambitious civil projects, including water, sewer, roadworks, and infrastructure developments. You'll oversee projects in the $10M range, taking them from concept to completion while ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex civil projects, particularly in water, sewer, and roadworks, with a strong focus on infrastructure.Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.Self-perform key project tasks and effectively manage contractors to maintain high standards and timelines.Utilise your commercial acumen to manage budgets, forecasts, and contracts, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency.Liaise with local authorities, government entities, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project progression and regulatory compliance.Leverage your deep knowledge of the Tasmanian landscape to optimise project outcomes and ensure local relevance.About You: Proven experience managing high value complex civil projects.Extensive background in water, sewer, roadworks, and infrastructure projects.Strong experience working with government entities on contracts and projects would be a significant advantage.A strong understanding of the Tasmanian market and local challenges.Based in or willing to relocate to Hobart.Ability to self-perform critical tasks while effectively managing contractors.Commercially savvy, with a strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.Why Join Us?
