About the company
Our Client is a Gold Coast construction company known for its solid reputation and experience in Southeast Queensland. They focus on delivering top-notch building projects for government, education, and commercial clients, working closely with design and project management teams. About the role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for receiving and processing Tender invitations including the estimation of projects. Once the project has been awarded, you will provide tender information to the Site Supervisor. Common projects include but are not limited to, new amenities, refurbishments of school blocks, park & shelter upgrades, pathways and undercover areas.
Key Responsibilities for the role

Receive and process invitations to tender
Prepare job cost estimates
Identify and provide for the management of risks such as rock, wet ground, critical path activities, long lead supply or subcontract items and wet weather
Where required, prepare a preliminary Construction Program and methodology
Attend client meetings
Prepare for and participate in tender reviews
Provide tender information for successful bids to the nominated Site Supervisor
Carry out final negotiations with sub-contractors and suppliers, finalise trades and suppliers being used on the job and handover to accounts department for Purchase ordering
Finalise any design requirements and building approvals

Skills & experience

Minimum 2 - 5 years' experience in a similar role with jobs ranging from $50,000 to $1 Million in value
Certificate IV in Construction
Certificate III in Carpentry
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage and communicate effectively within a team

Benefits
Hours of 7.30am - 4 pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work. Quarterly bonuses when exceeding set KPI's. Vehicle package of $150 a week (Conditions apply) plus $15 a week mobile allowance.
