Project Manager
Design & Build Recruitment is searching for a Project Manager to join one of our Modular Building clients.
Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of onsite Modular installation for Education and Social Hosuing projects across QLD. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The role is conveniently located on the South Side of Brisbane, so would suit people travelling from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. There will be occasional travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the construction and installation of modular buildings on Education and Social Housing projects. Work with your inhouse estimating and design teams. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site. Maintain the fun yet hardworking team culture. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and clients. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager. Modular experience is preferred but not essential. Experience working with QLD State Government Departments is an advantage. Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
