IEPro has been requested by their growing Civil Contracting Client to seek a Project Manager to assist them to complete their large pipeline of works across QLD and Northern NSW. These projects require a switched on and experienced PM to have previous earthworks experience with road construction, bridge, culverts and drainage. This is a company that treats its people with respect and where you are treated as an important member of the team. The work is sure to be challenging, varied, exciting and rewarding.
The Role
Deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedures Implement and monitor project management plans including programming/scheduling, contractual administration, procurement and technical aspects Resolve technical issues with site team members whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Lead a team of onsite engineers and technical professionals to ensure project objectives are achieved Maintain the procurement program and prepare procurement documentation Assist the Project Manager and work with the wider project team to ensure that projects time frame are met Adhere to Health and Safety requirements on site by complying with relevant state legislation, acts, regulations, company procedures and site requirements
About You
You will hold tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent along with:
5 years + experience working as an engineer on civil construction projects in Australia Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills which enable you to assist in resolution of client and key stakeholders' concerns Prior experience managing project engineers, site engineers, and graduate
