We are seeking a Project Manager for local industrial site works within the Gladstone region.

About the RoleThe Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of projects and handover of projects to clients.
Skills & Experience3 years within the construction industry as a Project Manager / Operations Manager / Superintendent.Ensure clear communication with clients to understand and meet their needs, fostering client confidence and generating repeat business.Able to demonstrate the ability to forward plan, coordinate and manage industrial projects, project scheduling, and budget management.Identify project-specific risks and implement mitigation plans, while continuously monitoring safety performance and striving for improvement.Development of daily/weekly/monthly management & client reports.Overseeing contract management, variations, and claims.Manage incident investigations and reporting.Proficient time management and organizational skills.Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Projects.Ability to meet fitness for work requirements and medical checks for site access.Foster a continual improvement culture towards safety, quality, integrity, and Youngs performance standards.Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams, while actively seeking opportunities for business improvement and professional growth.ResponsibilitiesDevelop project execution plans.Maintain a project budget.Provide project reporting and end-of-month claim documentation.Consult with management, clients, and subcontractors.Mentor project staff & team members.Effectively resolve conflict & manage a team efficiently.Coordinate employees, subcontractors, and machinery.Build and maintain client relationships.Ensure all client requirements and expectations of safety, quality, schedule, and budget are met.Manage compliance in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.Coordinate within project teams to arrange employees, subcontractors, materials, and machinery.Support the organization by providing strategic decision-making in daily operations.What You Will BringTertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or relevant trades qualifications or time in a role same or similar.Excellent working knowledge of project management principles and project control applications.Strong financial, commercial, and system acumen.Understanding of industry suites of building contracts and building contract laws.Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.More than anything, you will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high-quality outcomes for Youngs clients.
