Home to the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST), the C-Band Radar and Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio transmission capability, together these systems add a critical contribution to Australia's space domain awareness and battlespace awareness missions.Right now, we are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a bright and energised Project Manager to join our inspired team.In return, we will support you with access to best practice tools, systems, and processes while continually investing in your growth by providing tailored learning and development opportunities.Reporting to the Major Projects Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of Survey & Quote projects for HEH.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and provide direction to the day-to-day management, coordination, and delivery of the projects to ensure the achievement of the project safety and technical performance and other milestones within budgets and schedules.Ensure the delivery of assigned projects within cost, schedule, and quality and performance specification.Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Assess, identify, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities in accordance with the company's policies.Actively manage subcontractor's performance to ensure that they provide the level and quality of service contracted.Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.Participate in and contribute to the identification and development of program growth opportunities and proposals.Skills, Experience and QualificationsMinimum of six years' experience in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs, preferably in Defence technology and/or construction related industries.Ability to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility, as required.Demonstrated competence in Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), Prince2 or equivalent project management methodology.Skilled in the use of project management software (Organisational Process Performance, Microsoft Project, etc.) and the Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated skills in estimating work effort, duration, and value.Experience communicating with parties within and outside of own work area, as well as parties external to the organisation (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.).Don't miss the opportunity to build your career in a world-class team and help build the defence systems that keep Australia safe.If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, access your next mission now by clicking the "Apply" button below or contact us at ****** Australia is a capability partner for Australia's Defence, delivering whole-of-life solutions to the ADF.
