About the role: An exciting opportunity for a talented Project Manager to join us in overseeing operations across two of our key sites: Wetherill Park and Somersby. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in driving progress and innovation within our CSR production facilities.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify, design, and implement process improvements while effectively managing projects for the development and expansion of our facilities. With a specific focus on the design, implementation, and commissioning of process guarding, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our production facilities continue to provide a safe and effective working environment.
Identify, develop, and design, liaise with suppliers, and implement plant upgrades to improve the safety and efficiency of the site. Use analytical skills, data, and judgement to ensure continued safe operations. Engage with staff and use innovative and lean manufacturing techniques to drive and facilitate change management programs. Manage the change process associated with the introduction of new initiatives. Track, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of any changes made. Ensure engaged contractors are compliant and managed in accordance with CSR contractor management process. Apply mechanical and industrial process design principles to maximise efficiencies. What you bring to the role: Degree qualified in an engineering discipline. (e.g., Mechanical, Process, Mechatronic, Industrial, Manufacturing) This role requires engineering competencies, including insights and problem-solving skills including failure assessments and solution derivation which are key to continuous improvement of reliability. Demonstrated experience in project management and execution. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment Extensive experience (5+ years) in mechanical and industrial process design.
