Our Federal Government Customer is seeking a Project Manager.This is an onsite role in Canberra and requires Australian Citizenship. Baseline will be sponsored.The Policy and Governance Branch within the Shared Services Division is responsible for driving cross-government policy and governance outcomes. As part of the Government's APS ERP Approach, the Project Management Office (PMO) has been established in the Policy and Governance Branch to support smaller non-corporate Commonwealth entities to assess ERP uplift requirements and choose solutions that best meet entity needs and budgets.The PMO will consult with smaller entities to identify those needing a technology uplift and support them to choose a solution that best meets needs and budgets. The PMO will work with entities to prepare a consolidated budget comeback to support the required smaller entity ERP technology uplifts.The PMO has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join a small, supportive, high performing team. We are looking for self-motivated and proactive team players who think creatively and look for solutions to complex issues. Working in the PMO will offer high profile, cross-agency exposure. You will develop comprehensive skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, whole-of-government frameworks, and Cabinet processes. You will work with entities from across the Commonwealth to increase awareness of and build capability of entities ERP capabilities using technology solutions that best meet their needs.The key responsibilities of the position include:Lead the planning and manage the delivery of an ERP uplift for a small Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entity.Undertake project management activities including project planning and documentation (including procurement documents), implementation, monitoring and reporting on progress, providing recommendations about managing risk, and identifying and resolving problems.Manage internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors and services providers to deliver system related projects on time, in scope, and in budget.Provision of tactical, operational and strategic levels of engagement, decision-making, and advice through Project Workshops and other communication and engagement channels.Working collaboratively with other Project Managers within the PMO to ensure resources are effectively allocated across projects.Develop, maintain, and finalise project artefacts including project plans, statements of work, benefits realisation plans, and other key documents.Make recommendations for continuous improvement in the PMO including sharing project management expertise, mentoring, and training to other staff to build team capacity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
