Projex Building are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in our Commercial Division. Projex Building has provided high-quality building services to both private and government clients across the ACT, including commercial construction, residential multi-units, refurbishments, fitouts and more. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, great communication skills, down-to-earth attitude, and ability to get the job done better.To complement our growing team, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial team. If you have the drive and commitment to get the job done, meet the requirements below, and think you'd be a fit in our fast-paced client-oriented team environment, we'd love to receive your application.The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:Undertake duties required to oversee the delivery of projects assigned to you by the Directors;Assist bid teams in preparation of tender submissions;Full accountability of project delivery, including resourcing, site management, project budget, project scheduling, consultant and client stakeholder management;Visit sites regularly and monitor quality, safety and construction status;Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors/trades and suppliers;Participate in the development of Projex Building's management systems, branding and clientele;Undertake a leadership role within the business with focus on mentoring and developing building cadets and contracts administrators;Participate in the development and implementation of our Integrated Project Management Plan on a project by project basis.The ideal applicant will have:Tertiary experience in a relevant discipline, such as Building and Construction Management, Engineering etc;Proven track record in a similar role delivering commercial construction projects with multiple years' experience;A high standard of written and verbal communication;Strong analytical skills;Excellent attention to detail;Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment;Computer literate with proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite;Previous experience with Jobpac, Procore, ProcurePro and 1Breadcrumb software is advantageous;Understanding of Building Codes/Australian Standards/Construction & Contract Law.All applications will be treated in confidence.
