PROJECT MANAGER Main Duties/Responsibilities: Supervision of up to 20 employees Purchase Orders as per company policy Assisting in the management of service and repairs to plant and equipment Co-ordinating with customers and suppliers Carry out works as per job/project schedule Monitor and maintain job schedules.
Ensure safe and competent operation of assigned plant to Company Standards on road networks and Civil Construction/Maintenance projects.
Adopt best practice in relation to road maintenance and construction activities.
Adhere to and display a commitment to health & safety, environment and quality policies and procedures.
Safety compliance ensuring works are being conducted in accordance with required SWMS Conduct WHS audits/inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments Conduct toolbox talks and daily prestarts Undertake regular maintenance checks on any assigned plant.
Thorough knowledge in mobile plant capabilities and utilisation.
Carry out a variety of manual tasks associated with Company operations.
Actively participate in ongoing training and self-development to achieve continuous improvement for yourself and the Company.
Additionally, you may be required to conduct other duties as lawfully directed by the Manager.
Experience: 5 or more years' experience in a similar position/industry (or equivalent) Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the National Vehicle Regulator regulations and requirements Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others, complying with reasonable instruction and co-operating with Company policy and procedure Ability to work as part of a team, actively encouraging others and recognising the role you play as part of the KDW Civil Team.
