About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a critical project focused on transitioning existing spatial services and applications to a new Azure cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the transition of spatial services and applications to an Azure-based cloud environment.Oversee data migration activities from Oracle to Azure.Ensure project architecture aligns with the client's system design standards.Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.Handle procurement, risk management, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity assessments and standards.Manage project financials, schedules, and stakeholder reporting.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Ensure operational readiness and successful handover to the client's operational teams.About You: You are an experienced Senior Project Manager with solid experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies, especially in application delivery and data migration. Strong stakeholder management skills are key, and you thrive in collaborative environments. Experience with GIS solutions, particularly ESRI ArcGIS, and cloud platforms (Azure) will be highly regarded.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience managing technical and business-facing projects, including application delivery and data migration.Strong expertise in agile and waterfall project management.Experience with data migration projects (Oracle to cloud is an advantage).Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at senior levels.Experience with GIS solutions, particularly ESRI ArcGIS, is a bonus.Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.Strong communication skills and experience managing vendor relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
