We are looking for a Project Manager to join our SEQ Project Delivery Team based in our Brisbane City office.
This is a fulltime permanent position. In this role you will provide project management services on various Queensland Rail systems projects which may include signalling, power, telecom or other multi-discipline functions.
The rail systems portfolio is wide ranging and expanding.
Current projects include new rail monitoring instrumentation, passenger information system upgrades, major feeder station renewals, and new cybersecurity technology projects.
About the role:Manage the delivery of complex projects through a project team, ensuring safety, time, cost and quality outcomes meet business needs.Develop and manage funding submissions, project plans, project schedules, cost plans and cash flows.Determine resource requirements, as well as contractual and procurement strategies.Establish and apply appropriate project governance processes and structures.Conduct and implement risk management.Consult regularly with internal stakeholders, community groups, unions, government agencies, project governance bodies and other stakeholders in relation to the project.Administer contracts as required.Undertake internal project reporting as required on project progress.About you:You have a high level of skill in project management within a multi-disciplinary project management environment.Experience in developing and managing budgets for multi-disciplinary projects.Substantial level of skill in planning, organizing, concept development, problem solving and analysis in a project management environment.Good interpersonal, written and oral communication and negotiating skills.Confident in personal computer applications, including MS Office, spreadsheeting and project scheduling software.May require local travel, so a level of flexibility to work outside regular office hours as required by your project portfolio would be required.Please apply to Project Manager (8706) via our website by clicking onto the "Apply" button by 11:59pm (GMT+10:00 Brisbane) Thursday 14th November 2024.
