Your opportunity Working within the regional project delivery team, you will play a significant role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality asset outcomes and project management services for internal and external stakeholders.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same and requires someone with exceptional skills in managing relationships, as well as conflicting priorities between our stakeholders and delivery partners.
This exciting role will see you delivering infrastructure upgrade projects, with multidisciplinary teams to improve track and civil structures for Queensland Rail's regional network.
You'll also: Develop, manage and implement a detailed project plan that ensures the achievement of key objectives, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards Determine resource requirements, as well as contractual and procurement strategies Engage and commission service providers, including negotiation of terms of engagement and performance Conduct and implement risk and value management throughout the project life cycle Finalise projects on completion, including transfer of assets, closing financial systems, submitting audits and reviews, and preparing final reports for management The ideal candidate will have: Extensive experience in managing and delivering multi-disciplinary projects High level of skill in developing and managing budgets for multi-disciplinary projects Extensive knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration and design requirements Willingness and ability to travel across regional Queensland as needed for project work You will excel in stakeholder management, quickly building positive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external parties.
Your exceptional communication, negotiation, consulting, and writing skills, combined with your ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, are essential for success in this role.
