Project Manager

A PM is required to lead delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of the migration of small to medium Notes Domino applications to a Power Platform or other suitable solution.
Identifying and coordinating the financial, human and physical resources required for the planning, development, and delivery of simple to moderate complexity applications to budget, time and quality targets.
Liaising with internal IT service management and operational support teams to ensure that new initiatives are delivered in a sustainable way and consulting with business stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.
Delivery co-ordination including (but not limited to) the following activities: • The like-for-like migration of remaining active Notes Domino applications to a Power Platform or other suitable solution • Identification and mass migration of remaining datasets and apps on network drives to cold storage if they have not been accessed within the last 12 months • Consult with the business on a case-by-case basis to determine a solution for remaining datasets and apps on network drives that have been accessed within the last 12 months • Establishing and maintaining the use of migration factory processes and tools to enable the mass migration of applications ensuring the integrity of the data and functionality.
• This migration includes user interface, security and feature changes that may have impact to Application functionality and ways of working.
• Plan and coordinate project activities and resources to deliver the required outcome within the project timeframes.
• Produce required project documentation in accordance with policies and procedures within a project governance framework.
• Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including business representatives, ITB specialist resources, team members and other delivery leads and project managers in ITB.
• Provide effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and priorities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules and resource allocations.
• Provide direction and support for the team members.
• Contribute to the timely and accurate reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Ensure project administration activities are undertaken in accordance with internal governance and compliance practices.
• The key measures of success for this role are delivery of projects and work packages to the agreed Scope, Schedule, Quality and Budget baselines.
• Other duties as required.
• The role may have quarterly Key Performance Indicators to maintain.
• Current experience delivering small to medium ICT initiatives across the public sector is highly desirable.
Requirements (Mandatory) • Experience in software or operating system deployment projects.
Highly desirable skills: • Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Experience in delivering Power Platform solutions Experience in migrating data or applications to alternative platforms.
