That means delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and doing our part to create a prosperous society.Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 46 countries worldwide.Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Project Management team in Sydney are expanding and looking to bring on board an Assistant Project Manager.As a Project Manager with Turner & Townsend you will gain experience working across different sectors and projects including but not limited to; commercial/retail fit-out, tourism, commercial development, retail, health, education and data centers.Job DescriptionManaging larger multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex projects and programsDeveloping working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completionProactively managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectationsResponsible for preparation of project management plans, programs, budgets and other key project deliverablesReviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.Managing project timelines, risks and reportingManaging project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on trackChairing project meetings with clients and consultantsManaging internal project administration including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management and contract riskBuilding the business through engagement, marketing and tendering activitiesMentoring and supporting junior colleagues to grow and develop professionallyQualificationsA recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or Architecture3+ years project management experience delivering highly complex and technical projectsAbility to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regardedExcellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clientsAbility to track and manage status of multiple project activitiesAbility to follow up outstanding actionsAbility to escalate items for resolutionUnderstanding of the design process.Be organised and effective in the provision of support services to the wider team.
