The role Digital61 requires an experienced Project Manager to manage projects across multiple clients, including federal government and commercial entities.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Execution: Manage project execution, ensuring that tasks are completed according to plan, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, identify and address potential issues or risks, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
Adjust project plans as needed to keep projects on track. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including team members, budget, and materials.
Ensure that project teams have the tools and support they need to succeed. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management.
Facilitate meetings and provide updates on project status. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Address issues proactively to minimize impact on project outcomes. What You Bring Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management, with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects successfully across various industries or sectors. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus. Skills Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) is preferred. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience in motivating and guiding project teams.
Ability to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Problem-Solving: Ability to work in a team environment to solve complex business problems. Clearance Requirements To be considered for the role, you must meet the following criteria: Be an Australian citizen (permanent residents and/or Australian working visas are not adequate); and Have an active Baseline Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance (or higher) or at least the ability and willingness to obtain and hold one.
