Our client, a large complex Healthcare organisation, are currently seeking a Project Manager for an initial contract until 30/06/2025 based in Fortitude Valley with plenty of WFH flexibility.
The successful project manager will be responsible for leading multiple system enhancement projects concurrently.
Roles and responsibilities include: Oversee and manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of large scale, complex program/project(s) in line with project management methodologies.
Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
Oversee and manage the monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
Manage project resources, expenses and capital costs against the project forecasts.
Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
Manage capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary project team(s).
Proven experience working as a consultant or the ability to acquire consultancy skills in a short period of time.
Skills and experience required: Proven experience in the delivery of large and complex application based projects, preferably in the health care industry.
Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support the business, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective multi-disciplinary team which includes external service providers.
Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
High level leadership and design of large scale, complex/high risk projects.
High level of project management skills, with the ability to achieve successful project outcomes.
Ability to use high level interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and communication skills appropriate to all stakeholders to create a strong client focus.
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple multi-disciplinary project teams.
Ability to work in a team environment and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders.
High level knowledge and application of project management methodologies (Prince 2).
This daily rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
