*** Agency candidates not accepted for this role Due to growth of our Sydney multi-sites team, we are recruiting a Brisbane / Gold Coast based Project Manager. Reporting to the Construction Manager in Sydney, the role has full ownership and accountability for project delivery, with the Project Director; Both team members are long-term Built employees.
The role will grow with the expansion of the multi-sites division providing career progression for the right candidate, to the Senior Project Manager role within the next 2 years. Working in the aged care and health sectors, this role will be based in the Newstead office & / the Southport project location with work from home options (2-3 days a week).
The Project Manager for this project will:
Manage and deliver projects in line with project documentation, considering quality, safety and environmental requirements Overall accountable resource for delivery of assigned Built projects and resources Here's what a typical day might look like for you:
Client/Stakeholder Relationships & Team Management (with expansion; no current direct reports) Overall accountable resource for delivery of assigned Built projects and resources Profitability, Project Planning, Project Time: Control a project, on and off site, within time, quality, cost parameters and stakeholder relationships Industrial Relations, Quality, HSE: Manage and deliver projects in line with project documentation, considering quality, safety and environmental requirements The successful candidate will have: Tertiary Qualifications in Building/Construction Management, Engineering 7+ years post graduate experience working on construction or fit-out / internal refurbishment projects Experience in a Tier 2 / Tier 3 construction company, working in aged care / health (advantageous) Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills Experience managing a team, with a positive approach and fostering collaboration Able to travel to Sydney sporadically (less than once a fortnight; day only) Why Built?
