This terrific WA civil contracting business is highly successful and has an impressive reputation for delivering complex FRP insitu concrete projects from large concrete foundations through to highly technical structural scopes of work such as bridges, abutments, minesite crusher structures and tunnels.
About the Role:

This impressive civil contractor is immediately seeking a permanent PROJECT MANAGER (FRP) OR Senior Project Engineer, to initially work on a large Perth based insitu concrete project involving construction of two bridges for MRWA that will run for at least the next 12 months. Thereafter, you will roll over onto a new project with the business, again likely metro based and of a similar structural nature. The key purpose of the PROJECT MANAGER (or SPE) will be to take the helm to develop and lead a cohesive project team to successfully deliver this project scope for MRWA on time and on budget. You will be central to planning and scheduling of the work, management of commercial and contractual imperatives, forecasting and reporting on costs, and managing the client interface to nurture a long-standing relationship. This role will suit a Civil PROJECT MANAGER (or SPE) with proven 3+ years' experience working for civil contractors in Australia on insitu concrete scopes of work of RC structural nature involving FRP (Form, Reo, Pour) valued $10-20M. Experience on the following types of projects will be highly regarded; Bridges & Abutments (for MRWA or PTA will be beneficial), Minesite Crusher structures or Ball Mill foundations, Water Treatment Plants, or Process Plants. If you possess proven experience as a PROJECT MANAGER as described above, you can expect an attractive remuneration package of CIRCA $170-200K Base + Super & Vehicle.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (*Minimum) Minimum 3+ years' as PROJECT MANAGER (or SPE) successfully leading delivery of structural RC concrete projects (FRP) for Civil Contractors in Australia Proven success managing profitable structural FRP concrete projects and scopes of work valued up to $15-20M. Strong planning and scheduling skills (P6) Ability to manage, forecast and report on project costs and progress Excellent all-round communication and leadership skills to manage staff, subbies and the client interface Currently Perth/WA based, or able to relocate quickly to Perth.
