They currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager who has a comprehensive understanding of Utility and Commercial scale EPC projects utilizing Solar, Wind, Battery, Virtual Power Plants, and high-speed EV charging technologies. This position will report to the General Manager and work within established processes to communicate within the EPC, Engineering, and Research & Development Departments.Your Key Responsibilities:End to End Project Management of Renewable Energy and Energy Storage System projects, including Operation and Maintenance planning of Company owned assets.Conduct project and contract Risk Assessments.Stakeholder and Supplier Management.Project Reporting.Identifying likely problems and proactively taking preventive measures to mitigate and avoid potential project risks and delays and budget creep.Contribute to developing new opportunities and Tender submissions.Manage a diverse range of Renewable Energy and Energy Storage projects in Australia and internationally.Client and project site stakeholder management.Reviewing and signing off HSE and quality requirements.Attending/chairing meetings including design reviews, Work in Progress, HAZOPs, Client and Subcontractor meetings, and site walk-through inspections.Supporting project techno-economic reporting.Identifying likely problems and proactively taking preventive measures to mitigate and avoid potential project risks and delays.Managing as appropriate stakeholder, sub-contractor, and supplier relationships.Identify and provide training, coaching and support to individuals and teams.Support Power Systems and Renewable Energy projects inside the country (and globally).What you will bring to the role:The role will ideally suit an experienced Senior Project Manager with a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be able to problem solve, have a proactive work ethic coupled with the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:Qualification in electrical trade/project management/engineering or similar discipline highly desirable.At least five years' experience in construction/renewable energy/project management/engineering or similar.Ability to understand all facets of the project life cycle, including holding an in-depth technical understanding.Hold a complex understanding of the industry.Experience managing staff members and contractors.Experience successfully managing budgets and maintaining cost control.Understanding of Microsoft Suite (i.e., Microsoft Project).Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Demonstrated strong stakeholder management and client management experience.Sound knowledge regarding Solar, BESS, Wind turbines, and high-speed EV charging systems.This is an outstanding opportunity with a vibrant and dynamic organisation who are growing rapidly.
