Our vision is to support a world-class aged care system driven by empowered consumers who enjoy the best possible quality of life.About the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO)The purpose of the EPMO is to ensure that positive intentions are guided by disciplined program, project, and change governance, resulting in the realization of benefits in line with the Commission's strategic objectives.The EPMO comprises three function and service areas:Governance and ToolsImplementationQA, Audit, and AnalysisAbout the RoleThe role of the Project Manager is to support the ACQSC by managing Budget Measure and other complex projects for 2024 and beyond, to meet the needs of the Commission as a regulator of aged care.This role requires experience working in an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), bringing a combination of technical, financial, managerial, and interpersonal skills.The Project Manager will need to keep abreast of changes and updates in the regulatory landscape and their impact on the projects.Position DutiesApply the Commission's Project Governance Framework incorporating change management planning and use of the Portfolio and Project (PPM) Tool.Plan, organize, execute, and control complex projects while managing the project scope, budget, quality, and risks.Maintain project assurance via a dedicated Project Board and Steering Committee.Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation in accordance with Commission records management processes.Record and track against Risks and Issues by using appropriate methods and escalation processes.Design and manage the risk mitigation plan.Report regularly on project status for the Executive Leadership Group (ELG).Manage and coordinate staff and internal resources as required.Establish and manage strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Procure services, contractors, and consultancy as required.Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to improve project and program management processes.Communicate and anticipate risks and obstacles while adapting to the changing regulatory environment.Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria):Australian citizenship at the time an offer is made.Satisfactory completion of a criminal history check.Provide evidence of identity.Commit to working in the office at least three days per week.Recognized formal project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, PMP).Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate project management documents and reports.Effective problem-solving skills.Experience in a similar project support role (preferably in an EPMO environment).Coordinating meetings, committees, and working groups.Strong written and oral communication skills.Development and maintenance of stakeholder relationships.Flexibility to work on multiple projects and priorities.Experience with Microsoft Office products to an advanced level.Position Notes:Salary offered will be between $114,247 - $130,300 per annum depending on skills and experience.Only candidates who hold Australian citizenship can apply.Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for an irregular/intermittent term.In your application, please provide a statement of claims against the position eligibility requirements in no more than 600 words, including what strengths you would bring to the role, and a copy of your CV.Please complete the application and submit by 11:59PM Monday 28 October 2024 AEDT.The Commission is committed to fostering a workplace with flexible work arrangements to support a diverse, respectful, and inclusive culture for all staff.#J-18808-Ljbffr
