Location: Port Pirie, South Australia
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Our client is on the lookout for quality project managers with an electrical construction background. Join a heavily experienced capital projects team, and work on some interesting complex projects.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis for a major project in Port Pirie. You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Previous mining or resources experience will be highly preferred. This role will require a minimum of 4 days on site per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of electrical projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Develop detailed project plans, specifications, and drawings.
Manage and coordinate all project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
Prepare and deliver regular project reports to management.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, with a strong track record of successful project delivery in the mining or resources sector.
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Experience working within the mining or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
