Project Manager- Electrical

CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in QLD and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence and Resources. 
They are currently involve in the delivery of one of Brisbane's most iconic infrastructure projects of the last 20 years and due to peak periods of construction have identified the need for an Electrical Project Manager to join the business on a full time basis.
The position will report into the Construction Manager and will involve day to day Project Management duties in addition to mentoring staff. Key responsibilities include:
• Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management Plans
• Construction planning, scheduling and progress monitoring
• Design constructability and compliance reviews
• Subcontract management – LV, HV, Comms, SCADA 
• Cost Forecasting and Financial Management 
We are actively looking to speak to tertiary qualified Project Managers who have a proven background in the design and delivery of M&E projects in a Tunneling environment. 
Additionally applicants must demonstrate a strong level of experience in providing electrical engineering support including functional specification development, design coordination, safety in design, constructibility reviews, testing and commissioning and applying engineering quality.
