This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) position based in Mel/Syd/Brisbane/Adelaide/Perth.

About the Team & the Position As the nation's energy market operator, we take our cyber security responsibilities very seriously.
AEMO is a recognised leader and exemplar of effective cyber security within the energy sector domestically and internationally.
As the Project Manager supporting the Energy Market Cyber Coordination team you will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities that enhance the cyber preparedness and maturity of energy market participants.
This includes a broad range of projects and initiatives for: Establishing, maintaining, and growing partnerships with industry market participants and government stakeholders at all levels.
Facilitating and supporting cyber security maturity uplift across grids and markets through maintenance and promulgation of sector specific maturity frameworks such as the AESCSF.
Position Responsibilities Establish and maintain productive working relationships across a complex landscape with stakeholders.
Scope initiatives, manage delivery and coordinate internal and service provider resources on delivery of outcomes related to the AEMO cyber exercise program, implementation of internal capability uplift, maintaining the sector maturity framework (AESCSF), maintenance of operational stakeholder contacts, and support of cyber security research on emerging energy sector.
Coordinate internal and contracted resources to deliver objectives.
Support Manager Energy Market Cyber Coordination to report on progress against initiatives and other duties as required Position Requirements Skills & Experience: Knowledge of cyber frameworks, for example NIST, C2M2, AESCSF Expertise in MS Project, VSIO and PowerPoint Exemplary communication and facilitation skills and ability to manage complex stakeholder and delivery landscapes.
Procurement, program, and project management skills; financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management.
Experience with vendor selection and performance management.
Ability to travel interstate and work flexible hours.
Must be an Australian citizen, to obtain and maintain a national security clearance Education/ professional Certifications: Tertiary qualifications in computer science, business, project management or technology-related field or equivalent industry experience.
Project management certifications, for example PRINCE2, PMP, RegPM, MSP, AIM Cert IV Minimum of 5 years' experience in cyber security project management, with energy sector experience preferred but not essential.
