That's refreshing.Coordinate the seamless execution of a portfolio of large-scale, intricate projects encompassing various work streams, typically exceeding $50 million in value. Ensure strict adherence to design specifications, timelines, budgetary constraints, and overarching objectives including commercial viability, human resources management, safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental and community welfare targets.Drive the attainment or surpassing of financial goals by proactively identifying and addressing challenges while leveraging potential opportunities.This pivotal role is specifically tailored to oversee the comprehensive delivery and logistical aspects pertaining to critical components of the Western Renewable Link (WRL) Project, including the management of over 140 kilometers of access roads, 80+ utility diversions, campsite operations, and other essential enabling works.With a 3/2 Hybrid (Office/WFH) split this role is based in Melbourne, Victoria with regular travel to our sites from Ballarat to Ararat and is part of the Western Renewables Link (WRL) TeamThis role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:Manage project delivery, meeting client expectations on time.Allocate resources within budget and quality standards, setting goals.Coordinate specialist functions and manage interdisciplinary interactions.Collaborate with EPC contractor and AusNet teams for positive outcomes.Review progress against plans, ensuring quality, schedule, and costs align.Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, environment, risk, compliance, and stakeholder management.Monitor and coordinate staff resources, fostering high performance.Contribute to new business and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform all duties in accordance with AusNet policies and procedures.Scope includes coordinating construction and commissioning of Terminal Stations and ensuring seamless integration into operations. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent.Diploma or Masters in Project Management, Certificate IV in Safety.Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary projects and teams.Skilled in coordinating complex construction logistics and stakeholder knowledge of contemporary design and construction practices.Strong understanding of contractual, legal, and commercial compliance.Advanced expertise in financial management, including cost reduction and budget adherence.Proven track record in people and performance management, including subcontractors.Experienced in complex client and stakeholder relationship management.Competent in safety, environmental, and quality risk assessment.Proficient in analyzing and reporting on project performance and compliance.Managed capital projects/programs exceeding $50 million.Familiarity with various contract types, including Managing Contractor and Design & Construct.Previous experience in pre-contract roles such as Project Bid/Development Manager or Engineer.A real place to belong We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
