Randstad Defence is proud to be a part of the Australian Defence Industry. On behalf of our Defence clients, we are seeking a Project Manager to contribute to the delivery of projects with national significance. Candidates must be Australian Citizens and eligible for a Defence security clearance.

The Opportunity:
Our client is on the hunt for their next Project Manager based in Canberra. The ideal PM will have a Defence background, preferably with experience working across acquisition and sustainment for Maritime projects.

Key Responsibilities of your new role:

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Developing project documentation to fulfill Defence requirements for capability acquisition processes.

Collaborating within a project team to successfully deliver a variety of projects, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and budget goals.

Managing a portfolio of projects.

Successful candidate will ideally possess:

Project management experience, ideally within a Defence or government environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.

Relevant engineering and/or project management qualifications.

A current Australian Government Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher.

Highly desirable - Experience delivering projects within the Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
