Project Manager - Commercial Construction & Fit Out

We are a well-respected building company, specialising in commercial construction, in Perth WA.
We have a genuine focus on our team and have been in the industry for over 10 years.
Due to continued company growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our existing team.
Candidates will ideally have the following: At least 5 years experience in the construction industry.Proven results in the delivery of commercial projects (fit-out and new build).Working knowledge of a Quality Management System and robust HSEQ infrastructure.Well-developed interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to promote effective partnerships with internal and external clients.Contractual and financial experience.The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.High level oral and written English-language skills.A high degree of integrity.The ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work effectively.Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the scope and detail of the project.Obtain sufficient information from the Estimating Team to understand:The project participants and the lines of communication.Breffni Group client contractual obligations.A detailed knowledge of each subcontractor's scope of work and the specific performance required.Assist in selecting subcontractors and defining their scope of works and programme.Establish the site in accordance with relevant Occupational Health & Safety requirements.Track costs and produce forecast reports to be presented back to the General Manager.Progressive management of the quality of the product.Provide necessary set out, co-ordination with other trades, and direction of work sequence so subcontractors can complete their work in accordance with contract documents.Manage client relationships, client meetings, and briefings.Lead, manage, and develop Site Managers.Preparation of daily and fortnightly programmes in conjunction with the Estimating Team.Management of defect rectification.Applicants must have current rights to work in Australia.
