This initiative aims to position Newcastle and the Hunter region as a leader in producing, storing, and exporting clean energy technologies, including hydrogen and green ammonia.
YOUR NEW JOB Be a part of a project that's leading the way in clean energy where you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions like hydrogen and green ammonia, setting new standards in sustainability and energy efficiency. As a Project Manager, you will be engaging in a dynamic position that involves various aspects of project management, from engineering and construction to stakeholder coordination and regulatory compliance, gaining comprehensive experience in the process. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing:
Budget Management & Project Justification: Prepare and justify project budgets and feasibility studies.Project Development: Craft detailed project delivery plans, covering scope, schedule, stakeholders, risk assessment, and resources.Multi-disciplinary works: From engineering and construction to stakeholder management and regulatory compliance, you'll gain valuable experience and expertise across multiple facets of project management.Project Management: Define projects, select delivery strategies, and manage consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and risks.Cost and Schedule Evaluation: Critically assess project estimates and seek independent reviews when necessary.Engagement: Lead interactions with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.Design and Documentation: Complete project designs and specifications to ensure successful delivery.Procurement: Prepare and manage procurement documentation, strategies, and budget approvals.Implementation: Engage resources, manage contracts, and maintain project documents.ABOUT YOU A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.Proven experience in managing capital and/or maintenance works $50m - $100m in valueStrong project management skills with a track record of delivering on time and on budget.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience in procurement and managing multi-disciplinary consultants.Knowledge of contract management, tendering processes, and financial implications.For more information, contact Georgi Chard on , or simply apply!
