About the Role: As the Project Manager – Asset Intelligence, you will be managing multiple projects from assessment and delivery for operational and technology projects to achieve targets in line with the business unit's strategic direction. You will focus on power generation operational sites, and specifically the central overlaying functions for the systems and processes that integrate with these sites to deliver data management, reporting, technology development/deployment to lead to measurable results in operational efficiencies.
What you'll be doing: Develop, implement, communicate and revise the annual project pipelineWork closely with leaders to proactively drive projects and monitor work against agreed plansPrepare Project and Asset Performance reports for stakeholdersIdentify gaps in processes and systems, and develop plans to meet those gaps with support from business leadersIdentify, scope and prepare new project cases for opportunities to improve processesProvide program management capability for all phases of Asset Intelligence programs of work and be accountable for the end to end deliveryExecute projects in accordance with AGL corporate project management governance processes and reporting standardsManage, mitigate and resolve project risks and issues, whilst escalating to key stakeholders where it is appropriateDrive a proactive change management culture, challenging ways of work that previously served well but now require reviews to achieve AGL's strategic directionEnsure that all operational standards and practices that are introduced comply with AGL policies in regard to HSE and Process SafetyImplement the AGL Greenhouse Gas Policy, ensuring that all asset performance decisions reflect the price of carbonAbout You: The role will focus on digital enhancements and data, but this is not an IT Project Manager role; it is all about how technology and process optimisation can improve operations, so a strong Engineering/Operations background is required.
