This key role will initially be responsible for the Aged Care Reform project, which involves working with managers and leaders across the organisation to implement Australian government aged care reforms, with a primary focus initially on Support at Home.
The role will also lead, coordinate and plan designated projects to ensure agreed objectives are achieved on time and within budget.We are looking for someone who thrives in a project environment and understands the pace and challenges that come along with these.
The role also needs that special type of individual who can lead and direct a team to keep to project timelines and deliver objectives, this person will also align with Silverchain's values and succeed within the team culture.Key responsibilitiesThe major accountabilities for the role of Project Management Lead are:Lead, plan, develop and co-ordinate designated project(s) to ensure agreed objectives and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget in accordance with organisational objectives.Manage project communications in collaboration with Sponsor, business managers and stakeholders in support of project outcomes.Manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure project success.Provide support and advice in resolution of project issues, risks and other project related matters and co-ordinate the efforts of others to ensure project targets are achieved.Coordinate the implementation and evaluation of project outcomes and conduct information sessions, lessons learned workshops and/or training sessions, as required.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the practices of the Project Management Office.Champion, lead and provide regular reporting of the Project Management Community of Practice, fostering and promoting a culture of collaboration, shared experience and learning across decentralised project roles in the Organisation.Champion and promote Project Management Office Project frameworks, tools and templates to support standardization and consistency in Organisational project delivery.Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with departments across the Organisation.About youTo be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Working on complex projects and programs requiring significant change at an organisational and local level.Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of a formal project management methodology to achieve successful outcomes, preferably PRINCE2.Recognised Project Management accreditation (e.g.
