Our client is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity within their IT Project Management team for a driven and dynamic Project Leader. You'll be at the forefront of managing smaller projects or key work streams within larger, complex initiatives, collaborating closely with a seasoned Project Manager. This role offers a unique chance to make a tangible impact, working out of the Leederville office and reporting directly to the Manager of IT Project Management.
What You'll Do: Resource Management: Oversee the preparation of the Approval to Deliver Business Case and Financial Impact Statement.Performance Oversight: Ensure the financial and business success of your projects, optimising costs and resources to meet performance targets.Analytical Coordination: Perform detailed analyses of schedules, dependencies, resources, costs, risks, and issues for accurate project health reporting.Procurement Activities: Work with the Commercial Team to manage procurement and contractual documents.Risk Management: Support Portfolio Directors and Project Managers in mitigating risks and eliminating blockers to maintain operational efficiency.Control Monitoring: Maintain relevant controls, identify risks, and collaborate with the Manager of Project Management to mitigate these risks effectively.Key Skills and Experience: Expertise in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).Proven experience in tendering, commercial review, contract award, and management.Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.Our client is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
