With a continuous stream of successful project acquisitions, they are now looking for an experienced Project Lead to join their Brisbane team and oversee significant commercial and social infrastructure (Health) development projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the full lifecycle of commercial/health projects (new build/brownfield) with values over ~$200M plus, funded by either the public or private sectors. Duties & Responsibilities:Managing commercial construction projects.Responsible for managing the team on Commercial/Social Infrastructure (Health) projects exceeding $200M.Responsible for the planning, financial and budgeting aspects.Manage and report the assigned program of work to achieve program objectives in accordance with corporate policy and contractual agreements.Manage and anticipate project changes, adjusting plans and activities accordingly.Oversee and monitor key milestones for the project through regular project reviews and analysis of potential risks to ensure delivery of program objectives.Ensure all project deliverables are of high quality before handover.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align and agree program of work and anticipate changes that may impact the program of work.Manage performance, compliance and expectations of resources and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.Education & Experience:Demonstrated expertise in construction project management with a track record of successfully delivering end-to-end projects, handling contracts valued between $50M and $200M plus.Proficient in overseeing a variety of projects, including commercial, mixed-use, residential, and health-related social infrastructure.Skilled in coordinating with project stakeholders, consultancies, and construction teams.Adept at leading and inspiring teams to meet objectives related to time, cost, and quality.Possesses deep industry knowledge, particularly in structural engineering and building design, with a keen eye for identifying design issues and work scopes.Exhibits excellent reporting and communication abilities, adept in cost control and documentation to ensure smooth project execution.Effective communicator across all organizational levels, from clients and design consultants to site managers and subcontractors.Committed to safety prioritization and risk reduction.The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering, enhanced by additional qualifications in project management, design, or contract law.You will be rewarded with an exceptional remuneration package based on your experience and a supportive environment that will allow for a greater work-life balance.
