The DP World Project HSSE Assurance Manager provides oversight and assurance of Principal Contractor activities to ensure that they are aligned with DP World requirements, contract conditions, legal requirements and implemented HSSE and related plans.
Key Accountabilities Undertake relevant assurance activities to ensure Contractors are managing HSE risks in accordance with their plans, regulatory & DP World requirements. Lead governance activities through scheduling and performing audits, assessments and inspections and managing corrective actions.  Review incident investigations undertaken by the project consultant and / or contractor and determine if the investigation, including findings and actions are adequate to prevent reoccurrence; Regularly review processes for the onboarding of individuals, teams or parties to the Project with regards to HSSE and ensure inductions are being undertaken for new staff, 3rd parties and visitors as required; Review current and future contract documentation when tendering packages of work to ensure suppliers understand the minimum HSSE requirements prior to their arrival and are competent to deliver when they are onboarded; Evaluate tender submissions for HSSE related requirements and make recommendations on preferred contractors related to HSSE; Qualifications, Skills and Experience Graduate Degree in HSE or related discipline. Qualification or certification in project professional disciplines such as project management, project controls, risk management; Minimum 5 years of experience of being responsible for setting programs, implementing process and directing and monitoring the health, safety and environmental performance on a major project including third party suppliers in construction sector. Qualified and competent to conduct audits by a recognised accreditation body. Experience of working on construction projects within Port and Terminals industry; Experience working in expansion projects with interface of existing operations; Lead investigator experience (ICAM or other methodology) About DP World  Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
