We are looking for a capable and proactive Project Engineer for our Water Technology business to collaborate and work with our team in Perth.
Reporting to the State Manager-Western Australia, this role will establish sites in line with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards and will be responsible for ongoing management of sites and projects, including financial management and reporting.
Key accountabilities of the role include: Establishing sites, setting out survey, and continual assessment of works. Site management will be across multiple projects and sites concurrently. Installation, operation and maintenance of water and waste treatment systems. Assisting in preparation of tenders and proposals. Managing and reporting on project financials. Assisting in maintaining equipment logs i.e Plant & Equipment Register. Ensuring site quality, safety and environmental controls are implemented at all times and manage all documentation related to this. Ensuring all works are compliant with SciDev's QHSE standards and management systems at all times. Management of subcontractors. General operative work as required. Opportunities & Challenges of the role: Supporting multiple projects and deadlines concurrently. Meeting tight delivery timeframes for sites. Working within established budgets. Supporting and maintaining operations on a 24 / 7 basis. Coordination of subcontractors and managing client expectations. About You: Tertiary qualification preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Relevant industry experience in environmental, water treatment, civil or mechanical engineering. Minimum 3 years of site experience. Experience and commitment to safety and quality standards.
