Project Engineer - Mechanical/Process PackagesAbout the Opportunity Aussie Fluid Power is looking for a dynamic Project Engineer - Mechanical/Process Packages, to join our multi-discipline engineering team based in North Coogee.
In this role you will plan, coordinate, support and oversee engineering projects from start to finish ensuring that they meet specifications, are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to standards.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include: Work alongside the Project Manager and other Engineers to execute projects.Select components based on process requirements and verify suitability/compliance with project specifications.Produce and assist Engineers in the generation of project documentation, drawings, calculations and diagrams.Assist Design Engineers in designing process packages.Vendor and sub-contractor identification, selection and management.Provide workshop instructions, documentation and assist the workshop team during assembly and testing stages.Provide expertise and assistance to investigate and resolve technical and commercial matters.About You Experience in designing and manufacturing Fluid/Gas Process Packages.Relevant qualifications (Mechanical/Process) and a successful track record in project engineering.Problem-solving, creativity, continuous learning, attention to detail, adaptability, time management and communication skills.Experience in creating P&IDs and optionally electrical drawings or hydraulic schematics.Understand all the engineering design and risk analysis steps/meetings.Knowledge of materials and their properties to make informed decisions.Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.Experience in the hydrogen sector as well as knowledge of standards in the offshore oil & gas along with project management and AutoCAD LT and Autodesk software will be highly advantageous.About Us Aussie Fluid Power (AFP) is the leading hydraulic and process equipment specialist in Western Australia, headquartered in North Coogee.
