The PositionWe are looking for a Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our Perth team, reporting to the Team Lead – Mechanical. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of Mechanical building services throughout the project lifecycle from concept through to construction across a variety of sectors. As part of a technical team, you can expect to be exposed to various medium to large-scale new build or existing buildings projects. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical design from initial site visit through to production of tender documentation, specification and scheduling of works.Creating submissions and presentations which meet client and stakeholder requirements.Ensuring that work is completed efficiently and on time that meets the client's needs and specifications.Identifying and engaging with clients and key stakeholders, including attending design team and site-based meetings.Assisting in the preparation of project financial information, and the planning of resources required for projects.Driving and supporting a culture of safety and quality within the team.Who we're looking for:You will have a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with established experience working in an engineering consultancy environment or come from a similar design-based environment and have the aspiration to build your career in engineering consulting. You'll have a strong desire to learn and develop your career, with the support that NDY offers. You may not have achieved RPEng or CPEng status yet, but you'll be actively working toward gaining this in the future. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of Revit and other relevant software packages.
You'll be a confident communicator, with the ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature, both verbally and in writing, and engage with stakeholders, both internally and externally at all levels of the business. Your well-developed problem-solving skills will assist as you work independently and as part of a team, to achieve results.
