Aerison is a multi-discipline provider of engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services. Our in-house teams deliver projects and maintenance services covering structural, mechanical, electrical and civil works. Aerison has a long history of partnering with asset owners in the mining and minerals, energy, infrastructure, defence and water sectors.
THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY We are currently seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical) to deliver high quality engineering and project execution using Aerison systems and procedures while maintaining healthy relationships with all colleagues and clients. The delivery of works to client standards, Australian Standards and regulations is essential.
This role will be based in our brand-new Perth Corporate Head Office but will require some short-term site-based FIFO work as required.
Responsibilities: Complete mechanical equipment audits. Provide on-site maintenance supervision of dust collectors. Provide custom engineering support through the application of solid principles. Ensure all designs are in compliance with client technical specifications, Australian Standards or other relevant standards, and in accordance with best industry practice. Provide supervision and management to fabrication works. Autonomous engineering support for construction, commissioning, and auditing. Address engineering issues in conjunction with the Engineering and Drafting teams. Develop and maintain relationships with key client representatives. Support estimating for pre-award works. Rationalisation of engineering works associated with the project budget. Work in conjunction with a range of stakeholders (incl: designers, engineers, and clients from a range of disciplines) to meet project needs. WHO YOU ARE: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience in both Mechanical and Civil engineering will be highly regarded. Mechanically (Technical) minded individual. High level of experience and ability in use of applicable engineering systems. Ability to compile technical documents in a clear, concise, logical, and accurate manner. Understands the project scope and highlights concerns and/or opportunities around design and budget as early as possible. Manage own time against project objectives and budgets. 3-5 years in a similar engineering role. THE PERKS: Weekly pay cycle. Employee Rewards and Recognition programs. One RDO a month.
