The Opportunity Hall Contracting is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in the Marshall Islands. This role will involve contributing to an upcoming coastal protection project aimed at enhancing resilience and reducing vulnerability in one of the world's smallest and most vulnerable nations. This presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the marine industry, taking ownership of your role and adding your personal touch to coastal protection projects in the Marshall Islands. The project is set to begin in July 2024, with works on site commencing in January 2025 and is anticipated to run for 12 to 14 months.
Note: *This role will be on a FIFO basis with a 4:2 roster.
Travel and accommodation will be provided by the company*
Key responsibilities Coordinate and manage construction engineering activities to ensure the project is delivered according to schedule and costs.Client liaison and communication with other key stakeholders.Ensuring a strong safety and environment culture.Project planning and scheduling.Managing project budgets and forecasts. Contracts management.Ensuring client and statutory specifications are being met.Compiling and maintaining documents and quality records for the project.
