Working for a highly respected Project Manager and Construction Manager, accompanied by a strong team in place, you will play a key role as an experienced Project Engineer mentoring a team of other Engineers. You will liaise with the client, ensuring that the program is met, and coordinate with the Supervisor to maintain a positive relationship between site staff and contractors.
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Subcontract management
Planning, programming & resourcing
Progress claims & variations
Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis
Managing junior engineers
The successful individual must have at least 4 years of main roads – TMR/Council roads experience and have relevant Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications. This opportunity will continue to offer career development with future plans in place to ensure you are managing a main roads project one day. If you are based locally, Southwest Brisbane/Ipswich, you will be able to travel home each night; otherwise, a 5:2 DIDO roster is available. Please apply if this opportunity sounds like you!
