As a Project Engineer with our South Australian division, you will be assisting in the design and delivery of complex and significant projects. You will work with a blue-chip client base and a growing workbook of high-profile projects. You are a confident professional and capable with great perception in quality, safety, and environmental performance management.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and implementation of civil project plansWork to the guidelines of Delta Group's triple certified QSE management systemsInterpretation and interrogation of civil drawingsKnowledge and application of relevant Australian Standards relevant to Civil EngineeringRisk assessment and management of civil construction methodsProject Set Up – civil scope, programme, method, and budgetStatus and tracking of civil scope, programme, method, and budgetSequencing and staging development and approvalsAccurate cost tracking and production tracking according to budgetDocumentation development – specification review and quality assuranceClient and key stakeholder engagement. Management of project related subcontractors, suppliers, and/or consultantsLiaison with Site Civil Supervisor/ForemanProcurement and purchasing, including contract management for all projectsEstimate and variation development, including man hours, costs, and quantitiesPlanning, progress monitoring, and reporting, including audits and/or inspectionsContribute to continuous improvement of QSE management systemsManagement of Project Engineers/Graduates/CadetsTo succeed in this role you will have a range of skills and attributes, including:Relevant construction-related qualifications including tertiary degrees in engineering.Minimum of at least 5 years' experience in a similar rolePassion for people and their safety.Demonstrated communication skills – verbal and written.High-level decision-making and problem-solving skillsProven capacity to multi-taskHigh-level proficiency in most Microsoft Office 365 packages with a strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and follow upStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComputer literate with typing speed and accuracyA competitive remuneration package and employment conditions await the successful candidate.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
