The Project Engineerwill lead construction and maintenance services for water, sewerage, parks & gardens, and pool infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Undertake and/or provide technical expertise for, contract administration for road infrastructure constructionManage Council's day-to-day construction works and programs for roadsManage allocated Capital and Operation Projects as directed.Assist in planning, managing, and providing leadership, including coordination of operations and performanceAssist with developing and controlling expenditure against annual budgetsPrepare periodic reports to the Manager of Roads Construction and Maintenance to monitor safety, programme, expenditure, quality, environmental, stakeholder engagement, customer service and other performance requirements.Assist in the preparation of progress claims and payment certificated for contracted works.Maintain quality assurance systems and records pertaining to construction works.To be able to assist with capital works program management, construction procurement, construction management and contract administration services.This position is full time, permanent and is based in St George. The Workshop Coordinator is responsible for plant assets and the operations of Balonne Shire Council's workshops. The position provides asset management input to the Manager Roads Construction and Maintenance for reporting purposes, assistance with forward planning, budgeting and 10 years scheduled replacement program and disposal heavy plant; and management and coordination of fit for purpose heavy plant and equipment to internal stakeholders.
This position is full-time, permanent and is based in St George. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Manager Finance Services to join the team. The role is crucial to delivering the Long-Term Financial Plan, Annual Budget and Budget Reviews, ensuring statutory deadlines are met. The successful candidate will manage Council's finances, respond to audits, oversee the financial aspects of asset management and provide strategic advice on budget management and funding. The new Manager Financial Services will be a strong leader willing to be hands-on while providing strong leadership to their team.
