About the role:
This site-based role will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Supervisors to assist with the daily management of all site activities. We're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to manage the fit-out on this multi-level luxury residential development.
Procurement including development of tender packages, evaluation and award.Coordinating quality assurance checks, document control and ensuring work is delivered to project quality standards.Onboarding of sub-contractors including the review of QA and WHS documentation.Working with sub-contractors to resolve any WHS, quality or constructability issues.Liaising with consultants and management team to resolve any design issues.Ensuring suppliers and sub-contractors are meeting contractual obligations.Scheduling of work and procurement of materials in line with project programme.Cost reporting to the management team, reporting any risks to project budget.About You: 5 years of experience in a similar role delivering commercial or multi-level residential projects.Previous experience in a Project Engineer, Contract Administration or Junior Project Management role.Degree qualifications in construction management, engineering or project management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A reliable, resilient individual with strong multi-tasking skills.The Benefits: Premier projects based in Newcastle that will change the Newcastle landscape.Excellent remuneration package based on previous experience.Collaborative team of construction professionals who enjoy having a laugh.Supportive manager who works with their team to get results for the project.How to apply:
