Our client specializes in providing industrial remediation services and asset preservation solutions across various industries including infrastructure, mining, marine, defense, and commercial sectors. They are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join their defense solutions team at their Adelaide office. As a Project Engineer, you will handle diverse responsibilities, including weekly budget reporting, procurement, client liaison, labour planning, and project documentation. You'll play a pivotal role in organising work fronts, planning tasks, and ensuring QA/QC compliance.
About the Role:Support project delivery by managing and executing defined projects in line with best practices, client standards, and business objectives.
Prepare project documentation, including plans, Gantt charts, and specifications for minor projects.
Schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
Coordinate all project elements, including QA/QC, logistics, reporting, compliance, subcontractor management, and equipment control.
Provide administrative support for projects by managing briefs, schedules, action logs, budgets, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and other personnel, offering assistance and technical support.
Skills and Experience:3-5 years experience in Asset Remediation, Civil Construction, Infrastructure, or Defence environments.Relevant degree in Engineering.Expertise in coatings, surface preparation, hazardous substances management, and application processes is highly preferred.Experience in asset remediation, blasting and painting, and concrete rehabilitation is highly desirable.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.Ability to meet project deadlines, manage budgets, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.How to ApplyYou must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this role.
