Contract/Temp MYtech Consulting Services is a small IT service provider, providing services to public and private sector clients.
We are looking for a Project Director/Lead to work on an exciting initial 12-month project with the Northern Territory Government.
The Education Management Transformation Program (EMTP) will deliver a range of contemporary education management technologies to streamline and improve ways for capturing, sharing, analysing and reporting data across the NT.
The first stage will provision and implement a modern and consolidated (jurisdictional) solution with enhanced student enrolment and attendance capability to provide a holistic view of each student across the Northern Territory, their location, achievements and performance and their wellbeing.
Consolidating data from a range of sources it will better support students to engage with education and support a more student-centred focus.
The first stage also includes establishment of underpinning data and integration technology infrastructure to support these capabilities.
The Project Director/Lead will be accountable for ensuring the successful management, oversight and delivery of this high value, highly complex business transformation project focussing on solution requirements, procurement, configuration, delivery and implementation.
The resource will be required to oversight and manage a project team under multiple streams with close consultation and coordination with all stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver solutions which achieve agreed business outcomes.
The resource will prioritize human-centered principles to ensure that the solutions meet the needs and expectations of our diverse stakeholders.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive change and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing a multi-year, multi-million dollar IT transformational project in a complex enterprise environment.Demonstrated experience in the procurement of digital solutions to meet organisational requirements.Significant experience in project management with emphasis on strong project governance, planning and control, risk and issue management.Demonstrated ability to champion human-centered design principles throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with stakeholder needs.Strong leadership and change management skills with experience in end to end delivery of significant business system and complex business change and transformation projects.Strengths in business requirements gathering, analysis, problem solving and coordination.Excellent communication and facilitation skills for team management and strong stakeholder engagement with ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels.Demonstrated experience in building, managing and leading high performance teams to deliver high quality, customer focused outcomes.High level written and verbal communication.High resilience and self-discipline.Knowledge and utilisation of Prince2 project management methodology is preferred.Formal qualifications in Project Management, IT or similar.Desirable qualities of Candidate: Prior experience working in and/or knowledge of the Education sector.Personal Qualities required of Candidate: High level social and written skills with ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds.Self-starter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.Excellent problem solver and critical thinker.Promotes teamwork and collaboration by engaging stakeholders and team members.Services Personnel are also expected to abide (and confirm they will) by the DCDD Corporate Values of Honesty, Professional, Respectful, Accountable and Innovative.Location of work: Darwin
